Reality capture for government and DOT
Public agency work often carries a platform requirement that rules out most of the market. We keep a US built, NDAA compliant aircraft and sensor in service specifically for that lane, flown by the same crew to the same standards.
The platform requirement is not negotiable, so we planned for it.
Federal and state procurement increasingly restricts which aircraft can be used on public work. Most capture vendors fly a single commercial platform and simply cannot bid those contracts.
We run two lanes on purpose. A commercial platform for private AEC work, and a US built Harris Aerial H6 carrying a GeoCue TrueView 515 sensor for government, DOT and NDAA restricted utility work. Same crew, same processing, same deliverables.

Working with public agencies
Platform documentation up front
Aircraft and sensor origin documented so procurement can verify compliance rather than take our word for it.
Veteran owned
Cardinal Reality Capture is service disabled veteran owned. We are self certifying at present and have not yet completed SBA VetCert, and we say so rather than implying a certification we do not hold.
Insurance and certification
FAA Part 107 certificated, one million dollars in liability coverage, certificates provided with the bid package.
Airspace coordination
Controlled and special use airspace is routine on the Gulf Coast. Authorizations are handled in house as part of planning.
